David Puig Exits LIV Golf for DP World Tour Amid Bryson DeChambeau's European Considerations
Spanish golfer David Puig has declared his exit from LIV Golf, opting to join the DP World Tour as it undergoes restructuring. This announcement was made during the Spanish Open, a DP World Tour event.
At 24 years old, Puig, who previously played for Garcia's Fireballs GC in LIV, expressed his intention to compete in the European Tour next year, citing a desire for a fuller schedule. Although he did not secure any individual titles during his time with LIV, he achieved significant success at the Australian PGA Championship last November.
Meanwhile, Bryson DeChambeau is reportedly contemplating additional starts in Europe, although he is not seeking membership in the DP World Tour. His team has reached out to tour officials regarding potential tournaments for 2027. LIV members must confirm their participation for the upcoming season by October 25.
