DeAndre Hopkins Joins Georgia Tech's Coaching Staff
DeAndre Hopkins, a former NFL Pro Bowl wide receiver, is anticipated to join the offensive coaching staff at Georgia Tech. The 34-year-old was recently seen at the team's facility, indicating his involvement with the Yellow Jackets.
Hopkins has a prior connection with Georgia Tech's offensive coordinator, George Godsey, having worked together during Hopkins' time with the Texans and last season in Baltimore. Before this, he spent time with the New England Patriots, assisting their coaching staff and exploring potential coaching roles.
Throughout his career, Hopkins has been recognized as one of the most effective wide receivers, earning three first-team All-Pro selections and five Pro Bowl nods. He concluded the 2025 season with the Ravens, recording 22 receptions for 330 yards and two touchdowns. If his NFL career has ended, he will finish with 13,295 receiving yards and 85 touchdowns, placing him among the top 20 in both categories historically.
