Deebo Samuel Out with Hamstring Injury During Game
Deebo Samuel, a wide receiver for the 49ers, suffered a hamstring injury during a running play on Sunday, leading to his immediate exclusion from the game.
Samuel experienced an awkward fall while attempting to maneuver around the corner, resulting in a fumble that was recovered by Seahawks cornerback Josh Jobe at the San Francisco 36-yard line. This turnover contributed to a field goal by Jason Myers, giving the Seahawks a 26-21 lead.
In addition to Samuel, the 49ers are also dealing with the potential absence of wide receiver Jacob Cowing, who is questionable due to an ankle injury. Currently, the only healthy wide receivers available for the 49ers are Mike Evans, Brandin Cooks, and Jordan Watkins. Samuel recorded two catches for 21 yards and two runs for 4 yards before his injury.
