Defendants Waive Preliminary Hearings in Penn State Drug Case
On September 2, three defendants involved in the alleged Penn State drug trafficking case waived their preliminary hearings, as announced by Centre County President Judge Jonathan Grine.
Mohammed Huraibi, Thomas Robinson, and Robert Zanolla are part of a group of 13 individuals charged in connection with a drug trafficking operation allegedly based in the Delta Upsilon and Sigma Chi fraternity houses. Huraibi faces multiple felony and misdemeanor charges, while Robinson is charged with 21 felonies and 10 misdemeanors, including serious conspiracy and drug delivery offenses.
The investigation by the State College Police Department, which began in December 2024, identified Robinson as a significant supplier in the operation. The charges against all three defendants are linked to incidents that occurred on July 1, 2023.
