Denny Hamlin Discusses Pit Crew Challenges at Richmond Raceway

Denny Hamlin's race at Richmond Raceway concluded without a victory, despite his team's efforts to secure a fourth-place finish.

The No. 11 team encountered significant challenges during two pit stops, primarily due to a broken jack stop that hindered their performance. Hamlin noted that this issue added approximately ten seconds to their pit time, preventing them from competing effectively against leaders Joey Logano and Chase Briscoe.

Despite the setbacks, Hamlin expressed satisfaction with the team's strategy and improvements made throughout the weekend. He acknowledged that while the race was average for them, the adjustments made to the car were beneficial. Currently, Hamlin is well-positioned in the Cup Series standings, holding a substantial lead as the postseason approaches.
