Haruna Kasagi led Denso Iris as the top scorer with 23 points, contributing to a substantial halftime lead of 58-18. The Indian team struggled throughout the game, failing to match the Japanese side's sharp shooting and fast breaks, which resulted in numerous turnovers and easy points for Iris.
The match highlighted the stark contrast in performance, particularly in perimeter shooting, where Denso Iris made 15 three-pointers compared to Indian Railways' ineffective offense. In another match, Sichuan Yuanda Meile from China defeated Cathay Life Tigers from Taipei 92-70, with significant contributions from their foreign players.
