Denver Broncos Sign Safety Taylor Rapp Ahead of 2026 Season
The Denver Broncos have added veteran safety Taylor Rapp to their roster as they prepare for the 2026 NFL season. The signing, announced on Thursday, aims to strengthen the team's secondary ahead of the season kickoff.
Rapp, who was released by the Buffalo Bills in March, had a challenging 2025 season, appearing in only six games due to a knee injury that required surgery. He recorded 26 tackles, with nine being solo efforts, before being placed on injured reserve.
Despite his injury struggles last season, Rapp previously demonstrated his potential as a significant contributor, making 82 tackles in 2024 and achieving a career-high of 100 combined tackles during his rookie year with the Los Angeles Rams. Over his seven seasons in the NFL, he has accumulated 488 tackles, 12 interceptions, and was part of the Rams' Super Bowl LVI-winning team.
