Wrestler Deonna Purrazzo recently discussed an asthma attack she experienced during a match in 2024 while competing in CMLL. This revelation came shortly after fellow wrestler Athena shared her own asthma incident during a match at ROH Death Before Dishonor.

In a social media exchange, Purrazzo responded to a fan's comment comparing Eddie Kingston's recent CMLL performance to her own, indicating that she struggled with an asthma attack throughout her 15-minute match against La Catalina. The match received negative feedback, which led to a significant reduction in her appearances on AEW television.

Purrazzo's last match in AEW occurred in February 2025, but she remains active in ROH, where she currently holds the title of Women’s Pure Champion.
