Derbyshire Police Investigate Assault Allegations Involving Brydon Carse

Derbyshire Police are looking into an incident involving England bowler Brydon Carse, who was handcuffed outside a nightclub in Derby on Saturday night.

Images shared on social media depicted Carse surrounded by police officers after he was briefly arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly. The 31-year-old was later released after agreeing to leave the area.

The England and Wales Cricket Board announced that the Cricket Regulator would investigate the matter, resulting in Carse's removal from the England squad for the upcoming Test against Pakistan. As of Wednesday, police confirmed that no arrests had been made in relation to the assault allegations, and the investigation is ongoing.
