During the Cleveland Browns' preseason game against the Buffalo Bills, quarterback Deshaun Watson was booed multiple times by the home crowd. This marked Watson's first appearance in Cleveland since October 2024.

Watson entered the game in the third quarter, receiving boos after the announcer introduced him. His first pass was incomplete, and he faced further disapproval after the Browns failed to gain yards on his second series, culminating in an interception thrown to Buffalo safety Te’Cory Couch.

Watson, who is competing with Shedeur Sanders for the starting quarterback position, completed 5 of 12 passes for 35 yards and recorded a quarterback rating of 14.6.
