Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson stated on Wednesday that he is not worried about how home fans might react when the team faces the Buffalo Bills on Saturday.

Watson's comments came during a time when he is competing with Shedeur Sanders for the starting quarterback role under new head coach Todd Monken. In the preseason opener against the Chicago Bears, Watson completed 11 of 15 passes for 126 yards, but did not score and lost a fumble.

Sanders is set to start against the Bills and play through the first half. Monken has not confirmed when a decision on the Week 1 starter will be made, indicating it may follow the game against Buffalo.
