Detroit Lions Improve in NFL Power Rankings After Win

The Detroit Lions have made progress in the NFL power rankings after their recent narrow victory against the Green Bay Packers. This win has contributed to their upward trend in the rankings.

The game was closely contested, with some observers suggesting it should not have been so tight. However, the Lions managed to secure the win, thanks in part to the return of Brian Branch, who has strengthened the team's defense. Following Week 7 games, the Lions have climbed to the No. 11 spot in the rankings.

Despite the close nature of the game, NFL reporter Nick Shook highlighted the importance of Branch's return, noting that it provided a much-needed boost to the defense. As the season progresses, his presence will be vital for the team's performance.
