The agreement is valued at $132 million, with $101 million guaranteed, establishing Witherspoon as the highest-paid cornerback in NFL history. He was selected as the fifth overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft and has earned Pro Bowl selections in each of his first three seasons, contributing significantly to the Seahawks' defense that won Super Bowl LX.

Throughout his career, Witherspoon has played in 43 games, achieving 32 passes defensed, two interceptions, and 4.5 sacks. In the postseason, he has recorded four passes defensed and one sack in three games.
