DeVonta Smith Updates on Hamstring Injury Ahead of Panthers Game
DeVonta Smith, the wide receiver for the Eagles, is currently dealing with injuries to his toe and hamstring. He clarified that the toe is not an issue, while the hamstring has been problematic.
Smith mentioned that he tweaked his hamstring during a game against Tennessee in Week 2 and continued to play through it in Chicago. However, he decided it was not wise to keep playing and risk further injury. He has missed the last two games but is hopeful to return for the upcoming match against the Panthers.
The Eagles have yet to announce their injury designations for the game. Smith stated that he feels good, but his return will depend on the doctors' assessment. Additionally, the team will be without quarterback Jalen Hurts, who is sidelined due to a blood clot in his calf, leading to Tanner McKee making his first career start outside of Week 18.
