Dexter Lumis has shared insights into why his WWE character remained silent throughout his tenure. He aimed to differentiate himself from other wrestlers who often spoke excessively, focusing instead on conveying his message through non-verbal communication.

During an appearance on the Insight Podcast, Lumis expressed his desire to engage fans emotionally without uttering a word. He viewed his silence as a challenge to evoke feelings and attention through his presence alone. Lumis also revealed that his ring name was inspired by various characters from horror films and television, including Dexter Morgan and Dr. Samuel Loomis.

After being released from WWE in April 2022, Lumis made a comeback in August, where he began a feud with The Miz. Previously, he was part of the Wyatt Sicks faction before the group was disbanded.
