Dexter Lumis Reflects on His Friendship with Bray Wyatt

Former WWE wrestler Dexter Lumis has shared his memories of Bray Wyatt, who passed away in August 2023. Lumis first met Wyatt, whose real name was Windham Rotunda, during a Florida Championship Wrestling tryout in 2009.

At the tryout, Lumis was the only participant, and he recalls Wyatt and Wes Brisco taking the time to connect with him. They developed a friendship that continued over the years, with Lumis later encountering Wyatt during his appearances as an extra for WWE. Wyatt would greet him warmly and even discuss potential collaboration ideas.

Although Lumis and Wyatt never had the chance to compete against each other, Lumis later became part of the Wyatt Six, a faction created to honor Wyatt's legacy in WWE.
