Dexter Lumis Reflects on Wedding Storyline with Indi Hartwell in WWE

Dexter Lumis recently discussed his on-screen wedding to Indi Hartwell, which took place on September 14, 2021, during an episode of NXT. He emphasized their strong chemistry and noted that Hartwell often tried to make him break character during their comedic interactions.

Lumis described the wedding segment as memorable, stating that it was not disastrous like other televised weddings. He recalled that his first words in WWE were 'I do' and expressed satisfaction with the ten-minute segment, which he and Hartwell still cherish, having saved parts of the script.

The couple, known as InDex by fans, began their storyline relationship in late 2020, culminating in Hartwell's proposal in August 2021. Their storyline was less prominent after Lumis' departure from WWE in 2022.
