Dexter Lumis Shares John Laurinaitis' Method to Avoid Wrestlers
In a recent podcast appearance, former WWE wrestler Dexter Lumis shared insights about John Laurinaitis, the former Head of Talent Relations, and his method for avoiding conversations with talent.
Lumis recounted his experiences working as an extra in WWE before signing a contract, mentioning that he had worked around 25 to 30 times, including a stint as a Rosebud. He described how Laurinaitis would often pretend to be on a phone call to avoid engaging with wrestlers.
During a 2009 tryout at FCW, Lumis waited after a RAW taping to speak with Laurinaitis, who eventually acknowledged him. Laurinaitis noted Lumis' patience and offered him a chance to train in FCW, highlighting the importance of persistence in pursuing opportunities.
