Diamondbacks Designate Zack Littell for Assignment

The Arizona Diamondbacks have designated right-hander Zack Littell for assignment following the reinstatement of Drey Jameson from the 15-day injured list. Jameson had been sidelined since late July due to right hip inflammation.

In addition to Littell's designation, the team announced that Michael Soroka will be placed on the 15-day injured list because of right shoulder inflammation. To fill Soroka's spot on the active roster, Gerardo Carrillo has been recalled. With these roster changes, the Diamondbacks' 40-man roster now consists of 39 players.
