Diamondbacks Reinstate Players Ahead of Series with Red Sox
The Arizona Diamondbacks are bolstering their roster with the return of right-hander Justin Martinez and outfielder Jordan Lawlar ahead of their series against the Boston Red Sox.
Both players have completed their rehab assignments and are now present at Fenway Park. Martinez's return follows a lengthy recovery from Tommy John surgery that sidelined him for over a year, while Lawlar is back after recovering from a right hamstring injury sustained in mid-June.
This reintegration comes at a critical time for the Diamondbacks, who recently secured a 2-1 series victory over the Atlanta Braves. With the team aiming for a strong finish to the season and dealing with injuries, including that of third baseman Nolan Arenado, having Martinez and Lawlar available is seen as essential for their upcoming games.
