Dillon Danis Withdraws from MMA Fight Against Mike Perry
Dillon Danis has withdrawn from his upcoming MMA fight against Mike Perry, which was set to take place at Duel Arena 1 in Miami on August 29. This decision comes just two days before the event, leaving fans and organizers surprised.
Danis, who has not fought in MMA since 2019, had recently secured a quick victory at Misfits 22 in August 2025. However, he has faced challenges in his return to the sport, including a loss to Colby Covington and another defeat against Khamzat Chimaev. Mike Perry confirmed Danis's absence during a press conference, stating that Danis did not show up for the fight.
In light of Danis's withdrawal, Brandon Jenkins has been announced as Perry's new opponent. Jenkins, a former UFC fighter with a professional record of 17-11, will compete in what will be Perry's second MMA fight of 2026.
