Dillon Gabriel Returns to Practice with the Browns
Dillon Gabriel has returned to practice with the Cleveland Browns after being placed on injured reserve in late August due to a back injury.
Head coach Todd Monken noted that the team is not in a hurry to reinstate Gabriel to the 53-man roster, emphasizing a three-week evaluation period to assess his condition. Monken expressed anticipation for Gabriel's participation in practice, which will include individual drills and work with the scout team.
Currently, the Browns have Deshaun Watson, Shedeur Sanders, and rookie Taylen Green on their active roster. Monken stated that there is no immediate concern regarding the possibility of carrying four quarterbacks, as the team has time to make decisions.
