Dillon Gabriel Secures Spot on Browns' Roster
The Cleveland Browns are finalizing their roster decisions regarding their third- and fourth-string quarterbacks. Dillon Gabriel is reportedly confirmed to make the 53-man roster, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
Gabriel, a third-round pick in 2025, impressed during the preseason, particularly in the finale against the Patriots, where he achieved a near-perfect passer rating. Meanwhile, the Browns are also looking to retain Taylen Green, a sixth-round pick from 2026, on the roster, although releasing him could expose him to waivers and the risk of being claimed by another team.
Maintaining four quarterbacks on the 53-man roster poses a challenge for the Browns, leading to speculation that the news about Gabriel's position might be part of a strategy to explore trade options.
