Djed Spence Joins Inter Milan in £30m Transfer from Tottenham
Djed Spence has officially transferred from Tottenham to Inter Milan for a fee of £30m. The agreement includes a 10% sell-on clause, as confirmed by Sky Sports News.
Spence underwent a medical in Italy after receiving permission to travel on Friday, finalizing the deal amid ongoing negotiations. The full-back, who was a standout player for England during the World Cup, faced stiff competition for playing time at Tottenham, where he was behind Pedro Porro and several others.
Inter Milan has been seeking a right wing-back and turned to Spence after failing to secure a deal for Moussa Diaby. Spence had three years remaining on his contract with Tottenham, which included an option for an additional year, but he was eager for the move following a successful loan at Genoa.
