Djed Spence Transfer: Tottenham and Inter Milan Finalize £30m Deal
Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan have finalized a £30m transfer deal for defender Djed Spence. The agreement includes a 10% sell-on clause, as Spence prepares to move from Spurs to the Italian club.
Spence has been granted permission to travel to Italy for a medical examination while negotiations were ongoing. He was a key player for England during their World Cup campaign but faced stiff competition for playing time at Tottenham, where Pedro Porro is the primary right-back.
Inter Milan has been seeking a right wing-back and identified Spence after failing to secure a deal for Moussa Diaby from Al Ittihad. Spence, who joined Spurs from Middlesbrough in July 2022, had three years remaining on his contract but is eager for the move, having previously enjoyed a loan spell with Genoa.
