Djed Spence Transfers from Tottenham to Inter Milan for £30 Million
Djed Spence has officially joined Inter Milan from Tottenham Hotspur, with the transfer fee set at £30 million. This move marks the end of Spence's four-year period at Tottenham, during which he had multiple loan spells and won a Europa League medal.
The announcement was made by Tottenham on Saturday, following Spence's travel to Milan earlier in the week. He arrived at the airport in Milan early Friday morning and expressed his enthusiasm for the club.
The transfer agreement includes a 10 percent sell-on clause benefiting Middlesbrough, the club from which Tottenham acquired Spence for an initial fee of £12.5 million. During his time at Tottenham, Spence made 85 appearances and scored twice, and he also represented England at the World Cup.
