Dodgers Aim for NLCS as Braves Face Elimination in Game 4

The Los Angeles Dodgers are leading the National League Division Series against the Atlanta Braves 2-1, with a chance to advance to the NL Championship Series in Game 4. The Dodgers have scored all 10 of their runs in the series through home runs, despite struggling with runners in scoring position.

In their previous game, the Dodgers secured a 3-1 victory, relying on two home runs. Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman noted the difficulty of stringing together hits in the playoffs, emphasizing the importance of home runs. The Braves, facing elimination, have scored only seven runs in the series, with key players like Ronald Acuna Jr. and Matt Olson underperforming.

Acuna was moved to designated hitter due to knee soreness, raising concerns about his availability for Game 4. The Braves will start Tyler Mahle, who has performed well this season, while the Dodgers will counter with Tyler Glasnow, making his postseason debut. Both teams are looking to capitalize on their pitching strengths as the series progresses.
