Dodgers Concerned About Shohei Ohtani's Performance in NLDS
The Los Angeles Dodgers have progressed to the NLCS, but they did so with limited contributions from Shohei Ohtani, who has struggled since returning from an injury in September.
During the four-game NLDS against the Braves, Ohtani recorded a disappointing .154 OPS, with no home runs and just one RBI. Dodgers president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman expressed confidence that Ohtani will eventually find his rhythm, suggesting that opposing teams should be wary of his potential resurgence.
Friedman noted that it could take just one successful swing for Ohtani to break out of his slump, which would significantly enhance the Dodgers' already strong offense. The team is hopeful that Ohtani will regain his form in the upcoming NLCS against the Brewers or, if they advance, in the World Series.
