Dodgers Place Edwin Díaz on Injured List Again Amid Challenging Season

The Los Angeles Dodgers have announced that closer Edwin Díaz is being placed on the injured list once more. This decision comes a day after he allowed three runs during the ninth inning in a game against the Colorado Rockies, which the Dodgers won 11-5.

This marks the second time this season that Díaz has been sidelined. In a related move, the Dodgers are recalling right-hander Emmet Sheehan from Triple-A Oklahoma City. While the specifics of Díaz's current injury are unclear, it is not thought to be directly linked to the elbow injury that previously kept him out for three months following surgery in April.
