The Miami Dolphins have added running back Kaytron Allen to their roster after claiming him off waivers from Washington, as announced by the team on Friday.
Allen, a sixth-round draft pick this year, participated in all four games for Washington, accumulating 12 carries for 41 yards and contributing on special teams with 29 snaps.
This acquisition comes as the Dolphins seek additional depth at the running back position following De’Von Achane's torn ACL. Last week, Jaylen Wright started at running back for Miami, while Ollie Gordon led the team with 100 rushing yards on nine carries.
