The Miami Dolphins have successfully claimed offensive lineman Christian Haynes off waivers, surpassing the Ravens in priority due to their record.
The Miami Dolphins have claimed offensive lineman Christian Haynes off waivers after the Baltimore Ravens announced their attempt to acquire him earlier on Wednesday. The Dolphins secured Haynes because they hold a higher waiver priority, attributed to their worse record.
Haynes, who was waived by the Seattle Seahawks after they traded for Quenton Nelson, was a third-round pick in the 2024 draft. The 26-year-old has played in 31 games over the past three seasons, starting five of them, with his last start occurring in a Week 6 loss to the Denver Broncos.
In a corresponding move, the Dolphins waived offensive lineman DJ Campbell to make room for Haynes on their roster.
