Dolphins Feature Youngest Roster in NFL for 2026 Season

The Miami Dolphins have revealed their initial 53-man roster, which is the youngest in the NFL, as head coach Jeff Hafley emphasizes development over immediate standings for the 2026 season.

The average age of the players on the roster is 25.3 years, with only the Cleveland Browns having a similar average age below 26. Notably, 47 percent of the roster consists of players aged between 22 and 24.

While this youthful composition may present challenges for Hafley in his inaugural season, the organization remains optimistic that the experience gained this year will lay a strong foundation for future success.
