Dolphins Promote Kicker Zane Gonzalez and Defensive End Max Llewellyn
The Miami Dolphins have announced the elevation of kicker Zane Gonzalez and defensive end Max Llewellyn to their active roster.
Zane Gonzalez, 31, was originally selected in the seventh round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns. After being waived by the Browns in 2018, he joined the Arizona Cardinals, where he was promoted to the active roster. Over the years, Gonzalez has played for several teams, including the Lions, Panthers, and Falcons, before signing a one-year deal with the Dolphins for the 2026 season.
In the 2025 season, Gonzalez played in nine games for the Falcons, successfully converting 19 of 22 field goal attempts and 17 of 18 extra-point attempts.
