Dolphins Promote Zane Gonzalez and Max Llewellyn for Upcoming Game
The Miami Dolphins have announced the elevation of kicker Zane Gonzalez and edge rusher Max Llewellyn to their active roster for the upcoming game on Sunday.
Zane Gonzalez, 31, joined the Dolphins' practice squad on October 20 and successfully kicked four extra points in last week's victory over the Jets. He was brought in to replace Riley Patterson, who was released by the team. Gonzalez had previously been with the Dolphins during the offseason and training camp but was placed on injured reserve in August before being released with an injury settlement.
Max Llewellyn has played in two games for the Dolphins this season, making his NFL debut in Week 2 against the 49ers and participating in the recent win over the Jets. He was drafted by the Dolphins in the seventh round following a five-year collegiate career at Iowa.
