Dolphins QB Quinn Ewers Out with Groin Injury

The Miami Dolphins have announced that quarterback Quinn Ewers will be sidelined for at least a week due to a groin injury. This development led the team to re-sign Mark Gronowski to their roster on Sunday.

Ewers, who serves as the backup to Malik Willis, had a challenging performance in the Dolphins' first preseason game against Washington, completing only 1 of 8 passes for 27 yards and throwing an interception. Following Ewers in that game was Cam Miller, who is expected to take on the role of second quarterback in the upcoming matchup against the Giants on August 22, after recording 3 of 11 passes for 39 yards and two interceptions against the Commanders.
