Dolphins Rookie Linebacker Trey Moore to Undergo Ankle Surgery
Trey Moore, a rookie linebacker for the Miami Dolphins, is set to undergo surgery on his left ankle, which will likely keep him out for an extended duration. Coach Jeff Hafley indicated that there is hope for Moore's return at some point during the season, although it will take time.
The injury occurred during a preseason game against the New York Giants, where the Dolphins lost 26-3. Moore, who was selected in the fourth round of the draft, previously played at UTSA and Texas, accumulating 30.5 sacks and 175 tackles over his college career.
The Dolphins will wrap up their preseason with a home game against Atlanta on Friday and are scheduled to begin the regular season on September 13 against Las Vegas.
