Dolphins Sign K Zane Gonzalez Following Workout
The Miami Dolphins have signed kicker Zane Gonzalez after he participated in a successful workout alongside Justin Tucker. Gonzalez, who is 31 years old, was originally selected in the seventh round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns.
Throughout his career, Gonzalez has played for several teams, including the Cardinals, Lions, and Panthers, before joining the 49ers and later the Washington Commanders. Most recently, he played for the Atlanta Falcons in 2025, where he successfully completed 19 of 22 field goal attempts.
Justin Tucker, a well-known kicker for the Baltimore Ravens, also participated in the workout. Tucker has had a notable career since being signed as an undrafted free agent in 2012, but he was released in 2025 following serious allegations against him.
