Dolphins Trade for Patriots' Caedan Wallace
The Miami Dolphins have completed a trade with the New England Patriots to acquire Caedan Wallace, a third-round pick from the 2024 draft. This transaction occurred just before Wallace was set to go on waivers.
In the deal, the Patriots will receive a sixth-round selection in 2028 along with a seventh-round pick in 2029. Wallace, who has struggled to secure a starting position, has only made two career starts and played in ten games since being drafted No. 68 overall from Penn State.
Wallace is one of the few players from New England's 2024 draft class still with the team, alongside quarterback Drake Maye. The Dolphins are looking to bolster their offensive line, which includes recent draft picks aimed at supporting new quarterback Malik Willis.
