Domenicali Confirms Verstappen's Continued Involvement in F1
Stefano Domenicali, the CEO of Formula 1, has indicated that Max Verstappen is likely to remain in the sport despite ongoing discussions about regulatory changes. Domenicali revealed that he has been in talks with Verstappen, who has provided positive feedback regarding the upcoming modifications to the rules.
The changes include a shift in the power split between internal combustion engines and electric power, moving from a 50/50 ratio to 60/40 by 2028. Domenicali noted that drivers who have tested the new regulations on simulators believe the direction is promising.
Despite speculation about Verstappen's future, Domenicali expressed confidence in the Dutch driver's commitment to Formula 1, emphasizing their strong relationship and shared vision for the sport's future.
