Dominick Reyes Critiques Daniel Cormier's UFC 333 Commentary
Dominick Reyes has intensified his critique of Daniel Cormier's commentary during UFC 333 by starting a YouTube series focused on evaluating broadcast teams.
Following his knockout victory over Azamat Murzakanov in Abu Dhabi, Reyes introduced The Commentary Scorecard, where he rated Cormier with an F-plus. He assigned Jon Anik a B-plus and Paul Felder an A for their performances. In the inaugural episode, Reyes pointed out several inaccuracies, including Cormier's assertion that Murzakanov switched to a southpaw stance, which Reyes argued was incorrect as Murzakanov is naturally a southpaw.
Reyes also criticized Anik for referencing his past health issues during the broadcast, labeling it an irrelevant comment. He disagreed with Cormier's statement about being back to fighting ranked opponents, emphasizing that he has only faced ranked fighters since his recent losing streak. Reyes expressed particular discontent with Cormier's joke about referee Mike Beltran, stating that commentators should maintain impartiality regardless of their relationships with fighters. Currently, Reyes is on a two-fight winning streak and is preparing for his next match against an undisclosed opponent.
