Donald Cerrone to Face Anthony Pettis at RAF 15 After Four-Year Hiatus
Donald Cerrone is set to return to the ring after a four-year absence, facing Anthony Pettis in a freestyle wrestling match at RAF 15 on November 28.
The 43-year-old Cerrone retired from mixed martial arts following a submission loss to Jim Miller at UFC 276 in July 2022. He has a notable history in the UFC, having fought 38 times and being inducted into its Hall of Fame in 2023.
This matchup will be their third encounter, with Pettis, 39, previously winning both MMA bouts against Cerrone. Pettis has continued his fighting career post-UFC, participating in various promotions, with his latest fight resulting in a unanimous decision loss to Chris Avila in July 2024.
RAF, which began operations in 2025, has hosted several former UFC fighters, including Khamzat Chimaev and Colby Covington.
