Donald Cerrone to Face Anthony Pettis at RAF 15 After Retirement

Donald Cerrone is making a comeback to competitive fighting after retiring four years ago. The former UFC fighter will compete against Anthony Pettis at the Real American Freestyle (RAF) 15 event, scheduled for November 28, 2026, in Chicago, Illinois.

This matchup will be a trilogy fight, as Cerrone and Pettis have faced each other twice before in the UFC, with Pettis winning both encounters. Cerrone's last fight was a loss to Jim Miller at UFC 276 in 2022, while Pettis has been away from the ring since losing to Chris Avila in July 2024.

Both fighters have grappling experience, which adds an intriguing element to their upcoming bout. Cerrone holds the record for the most knockdowns in UFC history and has a notable number of submission victories. Pettis, on the other hand, has a legacy that includes a championship reign in the UFC and several submission wins. Their upcoming match promises to be an exciting contest in freestyle wrestling.
