Drake Maverick Returns to UK Wrestling with Match Against Dave Mastiff

Drake Maverick, also known as Rockstar Spud, is set to return to the UK independent wrestling scene this month, as confirmed by PROGRESS Wrestling.

The former TNA X Division Champion will compete against his longtime rival and friend, Dave Mastiff, on September 12th at the O2 Academy in Bournemouth. This match marks a significant moment as it will be Mastiff's first appearance in a PROGRESS ring in nearly ten years.

Mastiff, a former Tag Team Champion, last wrestled for PROGRESS in 2017 and has a long history with the company, having been a fan favorite during his earlier tenure. The upcoming match highlights the longstanding rivalry between the two wrestlers, which spans over a decade.
