Drivers Achieve Season-Best Results at Enjoy Illinois 300

The Enjoy Illinois 300 at WWT Raceway featured a dramatic race with a record-setting 18 cautions, allowing several drivers to achieve their best finishes of the season.

Kyle Larson secured his first win in 51 races, taking advantage of a late caution to gain a tire advantage over Joey Logano. Alex Bowman finished second, marking his best result of the 2026 season and his first top five since March 2023. Ross Chastain placed fifth, achieving his first top five since February, while Austin Dillon matched his season-best finish in sixth.

Rookie Connor Zilisch earned his first career top ten on an oval, finishing seventh, and Cole Custer achieved his best finish at a non-superspeedway in over a year, placing 11th. Cody Ware finished 22nd, his best result at a non-superspeedway since 2024, despite facing challenges during the race.
