Drone Attack Damages Ozon Warehouse in Orenburg Region
On August 23, the governor of Russia's Orenburg region reported that drone debris struck two industrial facilities, including a warehouse belonging to Ozon, a prominent online retailer.
Governor Yevgeny Solntsev indicated that the Russian defense ministry intercepted six drones in the area, confirming that there were no injuries. Ozon announced via Telegram that it evacuated more than 300 staff members and suspended operations at its logistics center in the region.
This incident follows a previous drone strike on an Ozon logistics center in the Samara region, marking the first attack on the company. The strikes are part of a broader pattern of drone attacks targeting economic infrastructure linked to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
