Drone Attack Leads to Destruction of Wildberries Warehouse in Russia
A drone attack on a warehouse operated by Russian e-commerce company Wildberries resulted in a large fire that completely destroyed the facility in the Tambov region, as reported by officials on Wednesday.
The governor of Tambov, Evgeniy Pervyshov, indicated that approximately 100,000 square meters of the warehouse were engulfed in flames, equivalent to about 14 soccer fields. Two people sustained injuries during the incident.
This attack is part of a broader campaign by Ukraine targeting Russian online retailers, with Wildberries facilities being struck since mid-July. Over 20 warehouses belonging to Wildberries and its competitor Ozon have been attacked, resulting in significant damage to warehouse space across the region.
