DTM Launches Documentary Series 'Behind the Grid'

The DTM is set to debut a new documentary series titled 'Behind the Grid', inspired by the Formula 1 series 'Drive to Survive'. This initiative aims to provide viewers with an in-depth look at the personalities and dynamics within the DTM.

Filming for the series includes footage of driver Nicki Thiim at the Norisring, capturing his emotional journey following a successful race weekend. The series will be available for free on platforms such as Joyn, ServusTV ON, Red Bull TV, and the DTM's official YouTube channel, with the first episode scheduled for release on August 28, 2026.

Each episode will focus on key narratives, showcasing the pressures and triumphs faced by drivers throughout the 2026 season.
