DTM Reveals 2027 Season Calendar with No International Races

The DTM has unveiled its calendar for the 2027 season, which will not include any international race weekends, contrary to previous plans for expansion. The season will commence from April 23 to 25 at the Red Bull Ring in Austria and conclude in October at Hockenheim.

Oschersleben will return as the second event of the season, taking place from May 7 to 9, following the opener in Spielberg. The DTM's race in Zandvoort, Netherlands, will now occur from August 6 to 8, marking the start of the second half of the season, thanks to the absence of Formula 1 events at the venue.

Despite efforts by ADAC to add an additional race weekend abroad, logistical challenges and high costs have led to a focus on existing venues, which have seen increased spectator numbers. The calendar also faces clashes with other racing series, including overlaps with the World Endurance Championship and IMSA series, complicating participation for drivers in multiple events.
