Duleep Trophy Semifinals: South Zone Takes Lead as Central and East Match Ends in Stalemate

South began the day at 40 for two but quickly found themselves at 80 for five due to the impressive bowling of Gurnoor Brar, who took four wickets for 70 runs. Despite a late collapse, South finished their innings at 285 for nine. Meanwhile, on an adjacent ground, East Zone's match against Central Zone ended in a stalemate, with both teams scoring 266 runs in their first innings. East Zone's Vaibhav Sooryavanshi made a notable contribution with a quick 92 runs.
