Eagles Add Carson Steele and Jake Majors to Active Roster
The Philadelphia Eagles made several roster adjustments on Friday due to a lengthy injury report. The team signed running back Carson Steele and center Jake Majors to the active roster from the practice squad.
Steele's addition comes as he is expected to fill in for the injured Saquon Barkley, having previously recorded 183 rushing yards on 56 attempts with the Chiefs in 2024. Majors joins the offensive line following the retirement of Lane Johnson and the recent trade of Cam Jurgens, with center Drew Kendall also ruled out due to a knee injury.
Additionally, the Eagles placed defensive tackle Uar Bernard on the practice squad injured reserve list. The team is preparing for their upcoming game against the Jaguars on Sunday.
